Milkbottle Cookies recently turned one and I had the honor to capture all of the fun. The day started with handing out t-shirts to the first 25 customers, free drinks, a photo booth, & of course, cookies. Makenzie Asisi is the owner and cookie mastermind who has created such an inviting space in Waco for people of all ages. Her talent, attention to detail, and creativity are unmatched and I'm truly amazed by everything she does. I would even go as far as to say that she is one of my top 3 entrepreneur inspirations. I think my favorite part of the day was seeing people pull Makenzie aside and share stories about how her cookies are attached to special memories for them. It is proof that the space she has created is so much more than a cookie.
I was able to photograph the grand opening last year as well and have loved having a front-row seat to their growth. One of my favorite additions to the shop over this last year is the addition of coffee + espresso! You can often find me here during the week working and editing away with an iced americano in hand. Apparently, I've been there so much lately that someone even asked me if I was working there now.

My personal favorites are cinnamon roll, caramel apple, twix, and chocolate chip. However, there are rotating flavors each week along with the core four, chocolate chip, cookies & cream, peanut butter, and snickerdoodle.
